Jules Design Studio can offer you a bespoke service to provide unique upholstery, tailored to your style and budget. We can source a one off piece of furniture to suit an existing room, that can be upholstered in a fabric of your choice. Beautiful, unique custom upholstery ! If it's a dining suite complete with table, chairs and storage that you need we can provide a unique service, with custom upholstered dining chairs, in one of a kind designer fabric or a reclaimed vintage material. Bespoke soft furnishings such as cushions (in any size or shape), made to order to suit a new or existing sofa that reflects your personal style, with a custom made large upholstered ottoman and statement chair, how unique ! Tailor made soft furnishings can breathe new life into any room and are so much nicer than something off the peg that can be seen in hundreds of stores up and down the country. If your furniture has that bespoke finish, chosen by you, it makes your home as individual as you are.

Jules Design Studio is here for you step by step. From the initial stages of our consultation, taking measurements, providing swatches and sourcing individual pieces; to stripping, repairing and rebuilding each chair, ottoman, cushion or throw. Our ethos is to reclaim, restore and reuse whenever possible, so with this in mind, we source as much pre-loved furniture as we can and breathe new life into it using your choice of fabric.
Our Process
The idea behind bespoke upholstery is to create something that is personal and brings you joy when you use it. With that in mind, we draw up a list of your specifications, i.e. size, shape, age, reclaimed timber or pre-loved furniture, antique or mid century modern, art deco or art nouveau. Then our aim is to source the item you want, discuss colour, texture, fabric; in the case of chairs or a chaise lounge wood finish, feet and castors and all the elements that go to making your choice as beautiful and useful as you desire. If it's storage you want, again we can source the size and shape you want from existing materials, keeping orange pine boxes out of landfill, and by using traditional techniques and hand finished stitching we can create something that you can treasure. We will discuss time frame and costs at the outset within your budget. A detailed estimate will be sent you with costs for fabric and materials, and a timescale. A deposit of 10% will be taken if you're happy with the estimate.
