Research and Development
Contrary to what we see in the media, living spaces take time to develop. That's not to say you don't have a fixed idea of what you want, but pulling all those ideas together, from wall finishings, to flooring and lighting, from fabrics to hardware. Each of those choices need research and development, so that when the final scheme comes together you feel comfortable in your space and it's fit for the purpose for which it was intended.

My job is to gather the facts; the colours you love, the textures you want, the lighting you need and the final finishing touches. It's a partnership that gives you the amount of involvement you want for the amount of time that you have.

ARTISAN LIAISON
Time Management
Part of any project is making sure that you're not left for weeks waiting for the next trade to fit you in to their busy schedule. It's about using tried and trusted people for the job in hand and having the confidence to leave your house in the morning and knowing that you're not going to return to the unexpected. In redesigning my current home I've been able to find and use a wonderful team of people. Even in Covid times, when supplies were in short supply or vastly inflated prices, we've been able to source materials and keep the project on the track.

I can help liaise with your trades people, your artisans for bespoke finishes and your suppliers to ensure a project is completed on time and within budget.

FURNITURE & DECOR SOURCING
With so much choice, it's often difficult to know where to begin. Do you have time to spend hours scrolling through the internet looking for the perfect bedside table ? Are there enough hours in your day to go shopping for lighting for a newly decorated lounge ? Are you moving into a new build property, but actually you don't want everything to look brand new ? You know what colour you would like for your bedroom, but just which shade of blue is going to work for you ? Sourcing the right finishing touches or the best wallpaper for your lounge can be an arduous task. We offer a stand alone service, that is commission based or hourly priced. When there's too much choice and not enough time, let Jules curate those choices and give you the benefit of thirty years experience as a furniture buyer and interior decor purchaser.
